Every format, one private tool

PasteKit formats, validates and converts 58 formats and 48 conversion pairs. Parsing happens in a Web Worker on your machine, so large files stay smooth and your data is never sent anywhere — verify it in your browser's network panel, or read how the Content Security Policy enforces it.

Frequently asked questions

Is PasteKit free?

Yes. All 58 formatters, 48 converters and 16 JSON tools are free to use, with no sign-up and no usage limits beyond what your browser can hold in memory.

Does PasteKit upload or store what I paste?

No. Everything is parsed, formatted and converted in a Web Worker inside your browser, and the published Content Security Policy blocks the page from sending your input anywhere. Share links keep the content after the # in the URL, which browsers never send to a server.

Which formats does PasteKit support?

58 formats, including JSON, JSON5, YAML, XML, CSV, TOML, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, PHP, Rust, C#, Kotlin, Swift, Ruby, Terraform, GraphQL and Markdown, plus decoders for JWTs, Base64 and URLs. It also converts between formats, for example YAML to JSON, JSON to CSV or JSON to TypeScript types.

How is PasteKit different from other online formatters?

It formats with the same engines developers run locally — Prettier, Ruff, gofmt, clang-format, rustfmt and others compiled to WebAssembly — keeps big numbers exact, points every error to its line and column with a plain-English explanation, and never uploads your data.

Does PasteKit work offline and with large files?

Yes. After your first visit it works offline as an installable web app, and formatting runs in a background thread, so multi-megabyte files do not freeze the page.
